Support
Contact the Unsent team for help with your account, photos or privacy.
Email us
Email support@unsent.photos from any email address. You can also submit a support request from Settings in the app.
To help us fix things quickly, include:
- The phone number you signed in with (we never post it, and it lets us find your account).
- What you were doing and what you expected to happen.
- A screenshot if there is one.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
For questions about your data, including access, export, or deletion requests, email support@unsent.photos. You can start these actions in the app: remove your face, delete every uploaded photo, or delete your account from Friends, then the gear, and reach us directly from that same Settings screen under Contact support.
Report a person or photo
If someone is sending you photos you do not want, if a photo is not of you, or if anything makes you uncomfortable, use the tools in the app. Blocking and hiding take effect in the app; reports are sent to our team for review.
- Report a photo. Open a photo in your Feed, tap the menu, and choose “Report”. Pick a reason (not me, inappropriate, harassment, spam, or other) and add any details. The sender is not told.
- Report a person. Open their profile, tap the “…” button, and choose “Report”. Use this for impersonation, fake profiles, or someone who should not be on Unsent.
- Block a person. Open their profile, tap the “…” button, and choose “Block”. This ends the friendship, hides everything either of you has sent the other, and stops them from finding you or having photos matched to you. They are not notified. To undo it, open Friends, then the gear, then Blocked people, and choose “Unblock”.
- Hide a photo. Removes it from your Feed without notifying the sender. Use Report if you also want us to look at it.
We review every report. If a report involves a child, an intimate image shared without consent, or a threat to someone’s safety, email support@unsent.photos with “Urgent” in the subject line as well, and contact local law enforcement if anyone is in danger.
Common questions
- A friend isn’t receiving my photos. They need to have accepted your friend request and enrolled a face. Deliveries are held for your review for 24 hours before they send automatically when automatic sharing is enabled; you can send them sooner from the Send tab.
- Photos aren’t uploading. Check that Unsent has Full Access to your photo library in iOS Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Photos, and that Background App Refresh is on.
- I didn’t get my sign-in code. Wait a minute and request another. Codes are sent by SMS to the number you entered; check that it is correct and can receive texts.
